The eye power in my eyes are -3.00 and -2.75 so I wanted to ask will the lenses in the glasses be too heavy/ bulky?

They can be if you do the plastic lens, but if you do the 1.56 lens thickness or even the 1.60/1.67 (which is even thinner), they will be lighter and more impact resistant.
